Savidge Library
This is Savidge Library, which stocks a lot of MacDowell Fellows' works, which not only include books, but films on DVD and tape, music scores, audio tapes and CDs, and lots more besides. It's lovely and cosy inside, with a big old rug, fireplace, reading lamps, pews, and snuggly reading chairs. Many presentations have taken place here, including mine. It is also one of my favourite places 'on-campus', apart from the dining room and my studio.

Below is the list of books I had on my bedside table during my stay. Some I'd finished quickly, while others I'm still savouring. The journals were a particular treat for me, as they're pretty much inaccessible without a subscription:
